About Aine

Hi there! I am Aine Steele, Cincinnati born and raised with a passion for performing. You could say it has always been a in my blood as I come from a long line of musical theater performers. I am the youngest of four and have spent every day striving to be just like my older siblings, who have always been my biggest inspirations.

Even though I was incredibly shy in front of others when I was 6 years old, which is a strange oddity in my household, my first role as “random orphan” in a community production of Annie sealed the deal for me, I knew I wanted to be onstage, making memories and new friends, for as long as I could. I have since gone on to perform at various theaters in the Cincinnati area including, The Carnegie and The Covedale Center for the Performing Arts.

I was a competitive Irish Dancer for the majority of my life, with my brother and sister doing it and my mom being a teacher it was a no brainer. I went on to place 2nd at our Mid America Championships and as high as 7th place at the North American Championships. There was lots of traveling involved in this sport and I am grateful to have traveled to Scotland and Ireland for the World Championships multiple times.

Aside from the performing aspects of my life, I enjoy cuddling with my three dogs, Fergus, Cersei, and Rupert, who are my best pals and are the best parts of my day. I enjoy watching True Crime documentaries and can be found napping at multiple points in the day.

Getting to watch my siblings in so many productions over the years and seeing them make lifelong friends and memories, I always wanted to be like them and continue to see them as my biggest inspirations. I owe a great deal to all of them. I remember how much joy they brought me when seeing them perform and my goal as a performer is to bring that same joy to audiences all over, and build communities through theater.
